By using URLit ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

URLit provides a URL shortening and link management platform that allows users to shorten long URLs, track link performance, and manage their links through a web interface and API.

By using the Service, you grant URLit a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service.

5.3 Intellectual Property

The URLit platform, including its design, logo, and code, is the intellectual property of URLit and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws.

6. Privacy & Data

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Termination

7.1 Termination by You

You may terminate your account at any time by deleting your account through the settings page or by contacting our support team.

7.2 Termination by URLit

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the Service.

7.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your access to the Service will be immediately revoked. We will delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

WE MAKE NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES REGARDING THE ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, OR COMPLETENESS OF ANY CONTENT PROVIDED THROUGH THE SERVICE.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, URLIT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless URLit and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:

• Your use of the Service in violation of these Terms.
• Your violation of any applicable laws or regulations.
• Your content that infringes the rights of any third party.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action arising from these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the federal or state courts located in San Francisco, California.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice on our website or by sending you an email.

Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you must stop using the Service.
